Alii Nui frequents a scheduled coral reef abounding with
colorful reef fish called Turtle Point four days a week or if you prefer
Molokini, we offer this snorkel destination three days a week You can participate in a guided "snorkel safari" with our
trained water specialist; snorkeling on a secluded reef abundant with sea life
including the green sea turtle, an endangered species. All snorkeling equipment
is provided complimentary including optical masks and wet suits. There are also
"boogie boards" with viewers used as a floatation device. Instruction is given
to individual needs and level of experience.
Increasing the quality of our charter, we have premium silicon masks, US Divers® dry snorkels and Velox™ vented fins. Also included as regular amenities are boogie boards, water noodles, wet suit tops, optical masks and large terry beach towels. Once you have had your fill of snorkeling, enjoy a refreshing "rinse-off" shower with one of four heated fresh-water shower.
Molokini:
Molokini is a marine reserve with spectacular water clarity and a
pristine coral reef. Rated one of the best snorkeling spots in the world, this
reef has a variety of beautiful reef fish and animals. More than 400 varieties
of fish are found in the Hawaiian waters and more than 25% of these are endemic,
they are found only in Hawaii. Occasionally we see dolphins, Whales, Manta rays,
and Hawaiian Monk seals.
Between the end of December and the end of April this trip affords a great
opportunity to see Humpback whales in the National Marine Sanctuary.
Turtle Point:
Turtle Point offers Maui's largest coral reef system nestled in the
protected bays at the base of the West Maui Mountains. The caverns and
ledges in the coral and lava, as well as the lava fingers nearing the surface
create the perfect habitat for sponges, corals, octopus, fish, eels, and shrimp.
The highlight of this reef is the number of Green Sea Turtles that gather
here to be "cleaned" by fish known as the Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse. The Green Sea
Turtles are an endangered species and must not be touched or harassed. They are
very curious animals and often allow snorkelers a good look from just a few feet
away.
Between the end of December and the end of April this trip affords a great
opportunity to see Humpback whales in the National Marine Sanctuary.

"We want you to know that several weeks ago we booked a snorkeling cruise on the Alii Nui. It was our first trip to Maui and also our first time snorkeling. I was somewhat apprehensive so we visited the Maui Dive Shop and the gentleman there was so helpful and made us feel comfortable to just try it. What a trip! We were treated like royalty! The ladies on board helped us so much that we gained confidence immediately. This was one of the biggest thrills of my lifetime. We have told everyone we come in contact with about this luxury cruise. We would like to be able to come again with our family and book another cruise with you."
Thanks again! Sincerely,
Jack and Dorothy Webb
